Follow the white rabbit ... cause things are amiss in wonderland. =(^.^)=
I assume the authors of the "rabbit" joke have got their inspiration from one/some of the following sources:
- The movie
- "Follow the White Rabbit Neo."
- The book
- The song
- Playboy rabbits (given the bunch of pervs that code this, it's a huge possibility)
First time the "rabbit" has emerged was 6th January 2004, in the CVS commit by run (libcw) (Internet Archive)
line 326 libcw 1.14 #warning Creteil? I know you are here Creteil... follow the white rabbit.
Then MadCat added a nice ASCII art:
,-.,-. \ \\ \ \ \\_\ / \ __| a a| /` `'. = y)= / `"`} _| \ } { \ ), // '-', /__\ ( ( jgs (______)\_)_)
after that....
- everything went down the rabbit's hole......... =:)
